Q: How’d you decide to come to Grove City?

A: I’m the most recent in a long lineage of people from my area and church who have come to Grove City. I knew the college had the academic program I was looking for, the values I appreciated, and I would have the opportunity to play lacrosse. It seemed like the right fit.

Q: Do you have any pregame rituals?

A: I eat the same meal every game day, pasta with red sauce, preferably penne, but spaghetti is acceptable.  I also tend to listen to either worship music or techno before games. I don’t wear eyeblack because I think it’s stupid.

Q: Any notable hobbies, interests, or activities you’re involved in?

A: I’m into music, I play the drums. I’m also a huge Baltimore sports fan, primarily the Ravens and the Orioles. Fun fact, I was named after the 4th best 3rd basemen of all time (according to baseball.com) and Mr. Oriole, Brooks Robinson.

Q: How’s your first impression of Grove City Lacrosse been?

A: Very different from high school. My high school experience was tough. We didn’t win a lot because we played a lot of talented teams and it wasn’t a very wholesome environment. Here the team itself is a ministry, whereas in high school it was more of an opportunity to minister to my team.

Q: Last question, how would you rate Josh Calhoun’s fall ball performance?

A: We’re all in the matrix.
